I've been busy lately, as always. Poetry has started to become a big thing with me and it's evident in my gallery. Photoshop, too, has become a hit; I'm really starting to understand how to do everything now. Abstract, at least.
A few weeks back, my Xbox 360 returned to me. Of course, I was overjoyed. Thing is, I'm really wanting to get a game like Assassin's Creed or Mass Effect to really settle my want for gaming. Halo 3 and Guitar Hero II isn't cutting it (especially since I lack Xbox Live for H3). Maybe I'll score some games for Christmas. I hope so.
Speaking of Christmas, I'm leaving for Chicago on December 21st. Going to go see my family over the holidays since I haven't seen them a lot lately; my dad, more so. It's been a few years since I've seen him, and that kind of bugs me. That'll soon be rectified, though.
Also, on that day, I'm going to be hanging out with Kirsten before I go hit the airplane with a vengeance at 8 PM. So, I'll have the rest of the day to really hang out with my baby, and then it's off for a long-ish trip. Yes! ...except not yes.
I need to get my laptop fixed above all else before I leave. That way I can work on some poetry, my book, and even listen to some music and play some games. I miss having the freedom of my laptop, and I want to fix it immediately! I can wait. I hope. Maybe I can convince my grandparents that it's all that I want/need for Christmas.
One can hope.
School has been carrying on like school: I hates it. Then again, it could be worse, so I'll manage one way or another. That does remind me, however.. I have two projects to get finished ASAP. One is this weaving-like-thing for Geometry and then there's a bunch of crap I need to print off for my World History "invention," if you will. That's boring, though, so I'll leave that subject alone.
My life is filled to the brim with drama, it seems. I don't like drama, though I do like the subject of it. Things will blow over eventually, and all I can do until then is wait, wait, and wait. Hopefully while reading a good book and listening to music. Not going to happen... -Grumbles.-
I'm kind of tired right now, but I need to move on. I have plenty of things to do before the night's gone and morning begins. We'll see if I manage to get done.
I'll leave you all with a funny quote I read earlier...
"If God lived on Earth, people would break his windows." - Jewish Proverb

A long time ago I use to be afraid of facing greatness...so I learned to avoid mirrors
